The enhanced design of the MORCHER® Eyejet® Type 15 CTR is the one bent eyelet which reduces a possible puncturing, or bulging, of the capsular bag when being rotated. The unique inward curve of the leading end provides a broad area of contact that allows the Type 15 CTR to glide more easily along the equator of the capsular bag.

MORCHER® distributes the pressure to all zonular fibers and prevents one-sided pressure to single zonular fibers. The additional safety element helps reduce the risk of puncturing (or bulging) of the capsular bag, entrapment, posterior capsule tear, inducing iatrogenic zonular damage during insertion.
