Description :
The original MORCHER® Eyejet® Type 14 Capsular Tension Ring has revolutionized complex cataract surgery. With a diameter larger than the capsular bag, the CTR’s inherent centrifugal force expands the equator, reinforces the weak areas and distributes support evenly to the remaining zonules.
The MORCHER® Eyejet® Type 14 Capsular Tension Ring maintains stretch and the circular contour of the bag, distributes the pressure to all zonular fibers and prevents one-sided pressure to single zonular fibers. It also stabilizes the entire zonular apparatus, may help prevent capsular phimosis, can reduce risk of intra-operative and post-operative complications, and minimizes incidence of post-operative IOL decentration.
