Description :

Designed by Robert J. Cionni, MD

The MORCHER Cionni Rings are Capsular Tension Rings (CTRs) which feature a central fixation eyelet to allow the entire ring to be sutured to the sclera. On a plane slightly anterior to the ring, suturing eyelets are positioned anterior to the capsule upon insertion. This configuration allows the ring to be sutured to the scleral wall without compromising the integrity of the capsular bag. Four configurations are offered to provide versatility in placement depending on the extent and area of missing or weak zonules.
